TruCrete was a start up from scratch. We were a coatings manufacturer that supplied finished products to distributors and contractors.TruCrete manufactured epoxies, stains, dyes, cementitious resurfacing mixes, sealers and colorants.We had many exclusive distributors throughout Canada, US and Mexico. I handled all product development for our company. TruCrete also private labeled our products for many other brands that did not have the same product performance that we had.Two things I am most proud of is that TruCrete created the first ever high performance all in one resurfacing mix. It could be applied at any thickness and achieve any texture by simply changing the water to mix ratio. This was a massive savings for distributors and contractors because instead of stocking several different products; they now only had to stock one.The other achievement by our company was our coloring system. TruCrete revolutionized how you add color to a project. We introduced dry pigment against the advice of 3 of the largest iron oxide suppliers in the world. And it worked! Not only did it work for the bag mix but also for our antiquing stain, our sealers and epoxies as well. This was a game changer in the industry.TruCrete was also a training facility that hosted attendees from all over the world to come and learn about our products.Our company was acquired in Sept. 2014. The company is still growing under its new leadership.
