Larry Neiterman has recently retired from a 38 year career with Deloitte, 27 years as a partner and more than 20 years in firm leadership. He has the vision and grit it takes to build a business from the ground up as well as an understanding of the challenges associated with driving strategic change in organizations of all sizes. Larry’s personal consulting brand is in the Life Sciences and Health Care (LSHC) industry where he consulted to many of the industry leaders in the areas of Strategic Planning and Mergers and Acquisitions. He led the practice for ten years during explosive growth (15+% CAGR). Under Larry’s leadership Deloitte was named the #1 LSHC consulting practice in the world – a title the firm still holds today. As the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for US Deloitte Consulting for the last 10 years, Larry was a member of the executive team that grew the organization to a $10+B consultancy experiencing double digit growth at both the top and bottom lines over this period. He engineered over 25 acquisitions and global joint ventures that led Deloitte to this market leading position. Larry had responsibility for the overall financial and operational performance of this market leading consultancy and was a founding member of the China, Germany and Mexico joint venture boards.Larry currently holds the role of Chief Operating Officer for Global Deloitte Consulting, a $18+B consultancy with over 100,000 consultants operating in over 40 countries. In both his Global and US COO roles he was key to the development of the strategy, establishing the operating plan and managing performance to meet/exceed the plan. Larry has been a City Year (local and national) board member for the last 12 years. City Year is a national not-for-profit organization focused on improving the high school graduation rates for students in the inner city. He has had roles on the audit, finance, program and executive committees. He also mentors the CEO and CFO. The board has responsibility for approving the strategy, financial plan, operating performance and evaluation/compensation of the CEO. Larry is currently the Chair of the Finance Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of the National Board. Larry was recently named a winner of the prestigious Consulting Magazine’s Top 25 Consultants of the Year.Larry has a BA in Economics and Organizational Behavior from Brown University and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Planning from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College (Tuck Scholar).
