Over my career I have been involved in the care of special needs children and adults. During my Dental Residency I was introduced to Dentistry for special needs children and medically compromizied patients. While at he Medical College, it was the pediatric center for Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. all pediatric specialties were represented, therefore we saw all types of pediatric syndromes, handicapes, traumas. When I started my practice, the special needs patinets gravitated to my office and we have had a special relationship ever sence. Currenty 90% of my practice involves sedation with 65% to 70%. I have a passion for these people and my deep concern is who will succed me. This why I still teach and contiue to be involved in organized Dentistry .
