Directed all domestic and international drilling, development and production operations through a core staff of 45 engineers and field personnel. Seated on the Board of Directors of several service companies in which Fremont owned a major interest, among them WellTech, Dual Drilling and BecField Drilling Services. Conducted exploration and production operations in the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana, Texas, Russia and Indonesia.• Design, installation and operation of several large waterflood projects in West Texas. Scope included drilling 240 injection and production wells in addition to construction of surface injection and production facilities.• Exploration drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and the in-land waters of Louisiana, in addition to onshore wells in South and East Texas. Development and production operations on two blocks in the GOM and one in Louisiana including development drilling and design/installation of platforms and barge mounted production facilities.• Managed Fremont’s non-operated working interest with other operators such as Texaco, Enron, BP, Exxon, Unocal, etc. Most were located in the GOM.• Conducted delineation drilling operations in the Urengoi Field in NW Siberia. This was the first successful integration of a Russian rig (Uralmash 5000) with Western drilling equipment and technology. • Elected and served as Vice President of the NorthGas Ltd. Joint Venture, formed to develop gas condensate resources and related infrastructure in the Western Siberian Artic. Oversaw all engineering, development planning and operations related to this project.• Managed the conception and development of BecField Drilling Services Company. Co-holder of several patents related to directional drilling and steering tools that were proprietary to BecField.
