Responsible for all profit and loss. As Store Manager it is my responsibility to maintain the store and all its team to the standards of the company and strive to increase our profits consistently based on recorded comparable sales by at least 4% each year, decrease store shrink, as well as to ensure complete customer satisfaction. As with any retail environment it is my responsibility to Recruit, Train and Supervise my team, Managing the stores budget through scheduling and expense minimizing, maintaining all funds and financial records, Shrink and Loss prevention, Planning every minute of payroll efficiently to increase productivity ensuring full shelves, short lines and a Fun and Friendly environment, Planning and Marketing Promotions to drive customer traffic within the community, Acting on customers comments and complaints, Ensuring health and safety compliance throughout the store, Planning and delegating all tasks within the store, making sales effective store orders, coaching as well as executing proper merchandising to increase our sales by creating customer grabbing displays and making sure that all variety of products are in proper distribution.

As a Retail Sales Representative I was responsible for the well being of the products under Lowes Food’s private label in various locations throughout the state. Due to the fact that Lowes Foods has a private label supplement for almost every product in the store, the main purpose of my position was to increase the overall bottom line profit of each store in my district. I was also responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with all of the store’s managers in each store. My work consisted of making sure that all the products that I was assigned each cycle/month were in distribution, tagged, clean, straightened, rotated and in-date through the use of the Sales Force program to increase sales on said items and decrease the shrink most efficiently by decreasing the number of items returned under the double money back guarantee policy that Lowes Foods offers, as well as implementing Enticing Merchandising techniques with the stores employees. I gained a lot of experience in this position including self and time management as well as managing on a district level, sales techniques, and merchandising.

My duties included but were not limited to: processing transactions, making schedules through Workforce, maintaining store freshness and rotation, cycle counts, recalls, store transfers, checking in vendors, office functions such as Form 30's, counting and logging safe, verifying and counting the Deposit, cashing out registers, changing the marquee board, loss prevention, photo processing, store maintenance and sanitation, Western Union money transfers and Money orders, NCEL, attending to customer's questions and complaints, processing vendor and customer returns and exchanges, answering the phone, building end caps and completing planograms/schematics, unloading truck and stocking, all while providing excellent customer service.

My duties in this position were to take orders, waiting tables, answering the phone, food preparation/Cooking as well as delivery, janitorial duties all while tending to the customer service needs of the restaurant.

Various projects such as monthly newsletter creation and mailing, as well as receptionist duties like Filing, answering the phone, transferring calls and watercraft vehicle registrations with the DMV.
