Naval Aviation While in Naval Flight School I finished top of my primary flight school class. I was selected for intermediate jet training where I successfully landed a T-2 Buckeye, twin-engine jet trainer, on the deck of the USS Lexington while at sea. However I did not receive a qualifying score and flight training ended at this point.
