- Established that heap leaching is optimal process to develop copper sulphide ore deposit in terms of environmental, economical, and social parameters;- Designed heap leach operation, including the leaching reagent flow rate, agglomerated particle size, heap leach pad composition, and aeration system;- Calculated yearly copper production, water use, and profit as well as timeline to deposit exhaustion, and other variables of interest to the client.

- Reduced cost of each trip for each student by $100 through successful application to the Professional Activities Fund (PAF) of UBC;- Presented student feedback to materials engineering faculty to facilitate improved future trips.
