CurrentExperience Summary:Larry has been consulting with various transportation agencies since 2003 regarding improvements to their asset management and risk management capabilities. The state agencies he has worked with include the Wyoming, Colorado, West Virginia, Delaware, Nevada, Texas, and New Mexico DOTs, helping them develop their management processes and procure information systems in order to work toward their visions in asset management. He also assisted Israeli National Roads with the development of their project selection process and the procurement of their Integrated Planning System. In addition, Larry supported the World Bank and their efforts to implement asset and risk management in developing countries. Larry has also initiated and led numerous research projects in order to develop innovative methods, tools, and process improvements in transportation asset management. Previously, Larry was Senior Manager of Supply Chain Management and Strategic Sourcing for Cessna Aircraft Company. He helped revolutionize how Cessna manages their supply of parts and materials, as well as how suppliers are measured and managed. Mr. Redd launched and executed a risk-based approach to identifying sourcing opportunities, and as a result, was responsible for significant reductions in direct operating costs for all production lines of business jets at Cessna.
