Senior mechanical design engineer with project leadership skills and very strong design experience residing in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I have 22 years experience, 20 of that in telecommunications/electronics packaging. I am a Pro/E power user and have good experience with thermal analysis/CFD tools. I am presently employed as a Senior Component Engineer at CommScope, performing as a global material and process standardization lead.I have driven many projects to successful conclusion over the years and am a team and success oriented individual. At the same time, I have also completed projects in environments where I was the sole resource and had to "do it all." In leading project development, I was involved as technical lead from inception to completion, including broad conceptualization, refinement of design, development of rough schedules and budgets, obtaining project approval, and then detailed design execution through prototype phase, testing, and ultimately release. Skills range across the spectrum of product development in a mechanical and electronics packaging environment.
