Larry Saunders received his BS Degree from Louisiana State University and his MBA from Loyola University. His more than 35 years in the Electrical Industry include various sales engineering, marketing and management positions with Square D Company, with Westinghouse, with Allen Bradley, and most recently with Eaton Corporation / Electrical Group as District Engineer.Larry is active in the ISA where he has served on the Executive Committee for many years in various committee positions and as Vice President and President. He has served in leadership positions with the Electrical Association of New Orleans as Vice President and Director and as an active member of IAEI. He served as one of the co-authors of the API Standards RP14F and RP14FZ (Electrical Standards for Offshore Floating Platforms).Larry has been active in IEEE as a member of both the Power & Energy Society and the Industry Application Society. His authorships include two IEEE-IAS-PCIC papers and presentations, an IEEE-IAS Transactions paper, an IEEE-IAS-PCIC tutorial, and a 1997 PCIC Best Paper Award. He served as National Chair of the PCIC Production Subcommittee. Seeing the need for an enhanced safety (arc-resistant) low-voltage MCC, Larry was instrumental in the approval for development of IEEE Standard P1683 and currently serves on the P1683 Committee. Larry served as a director of IEEE Region 5 New Orleans Section.
