My current role is serving as the Director of Information Technology for the Nakupuna Companies, a family of Native Hawaiian Owned 8(a) government consulting firms. In this role I am responsible for providing the organization and its over 550 employees, dispersed in over 30 states, with dependable, forward-looking information management and technology solutions. Additionally, I am responsible for ensuring the regulatory compliance and security of all corporate data while ensuring adherence to federal IT regulations. I have led the organization in ensuring our IT infrastructure remains agile and secure while positioning the company to comply with the Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Over the course of my four years with the company, we have made numerous technological advancements, including brining cybersecurity to the forefront of IT decision making.

Larry Scherer is the Vice President of Infrastructure Solutions for TWD & Associates. In this position, he is responsible for developing new and expanded infrastructure and technology capabilities and offerings, leading sales and proposal management efforts and customizing business solutions to meet customer requirements. Mr. Scherer also provides project and program management support, as well as subject matter expertise to several of TWD’s high-profile federal contracts. Prior to assuming the position of Vice President, Mr. Scherer served in several positions over his 12-year career with TWD, most recently as the executive in charge of the company’s flagship IT support contract for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). His expertise includes: A/V and infrastructure engineering, accreditation and information assurance of systems, video teleconferencing, application and database management, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), SharePoint and web development, network and server support, and legacy migration services.
