Larry Stein is the Director, Strategic Sourcing and Global Sourcing for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts He leads the Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Lines sourcing teams in the United States and the Global Sourcing teams in Guangzhou and Shanghai, China. He also is responsible for Supplier Sustainability strategy and Supplier Food Safety initiatives for WDPR. Larry joined Disney in 2000 as a Product Developer for the Merchandise line of business. He then spent time on the Merchandise Strategy and Merchandise Sourcing teams before moving to Strategic Sourcing and Procurement in 1997. Larry began his career at Kaybee Toys and spent fourteen in various operational and buying roles becoming the Director of Toy Works, a Kay Bee division in 1990. In 1996, Larry became Vice President, General Merchandise Manager of Sweet Ideas, a one hundred store candy and gift chain located in Troy, Michigan.
