• Operations Manager for ARL Composites Laboratory. 10,000 sq. ft. facility with annual budget of $1.5M, 7 full-time technical staff, and 3-5 half-time graduate students. • New Business Development Coordinator. Responsible for expanding contract research in DoD and commercial sectors. Generated approximately $4M in new R&D contracts over 2 years. • Technical Advisor to NAVSEA 03P (Submarine Structural Integrity Division). Served on integrated project teams for Advanced SEAL Delivery System and New Attack Submarine programs.

• Operations Manager for ARL Composites Laboratory. Developed plan for renovation of facility, coordinated construction, and supervised installation of new equipment. • Program Manager for $700K US Navy program focused on development of composite structure for evaluation on the Large-Scale Vehicle (LSV). Program resulted in first successful demonstration of structural composites on this test platform. • Lead Manufacturing Engineer for 9-month, paper-to-prototype program leading to installation of full-scale composite structure for combatant submarine. Success led to contracts for 2 additional installations. • Technical Evaluation Team Leader for $15M US Navy solicitation. Chaired proposal evaluation committee composed of members from US Navy Laboratories, Naval Sea Systems Command, and various contractors including General Dynamics and Newport News Shipbuilding.

• Program Manager for $350K US Navy program to develop resin transfer molded composite components for undersea weapon system. Achieved 50% weight and cost savings.• Lead Engineer for ARL Composites Laboratory. Responsible for preparing proposals and conducting research on structural polymers and polymer composite materials.

• Project Manager for all internal and contract polymer coatings research projects. • Lead Engineer for composite machining operations.
