I developed internal tools, identified key metrics, and set the standards for Stripe's code examples. As the first writer I also created the original job description, interview framework, spin-up process, job ladders and levels. After that, I became the first writer focused on internal engineering docs at Stripe. I helped build up the team, improved the tooling, and established best practices. Combined with dedicated education and training, the internal docs team developed frameworks, defined models, and reinforced a culture of writing, thereby expediting engineering at Stripe. -
