The Mississippi Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) is committed to growing Mississippi’s businesses through incentives and financing opportunities needed to advance economic growth in all commercial and industrial sectors.The Mississippi Development Bank is a statewide issuer of revenue bonds with proceeds going to local governmental entities.

MBFC has promoted the business and economic welfare of Mississippi by assisting in the financing of public and private projects throughout the Magnolia State. MBFC serves as a statewide conduit issuer and acts on behalf of the borrower to access incentives, financial markets, and low-cost capital. Since its creation, MBFC has facilitated 806 projects for over $23 Billion, resulting in the creation and retention of more than 235,358 jobs. MBFC acts as a “conduit” issuer on behalf of a borrowing entity. Entities do not borrow from MBFC, but rather through MBFC, using MBFC as access to certain statutory incentives and/or lower-cost capital.Any corporation, partnership, LLC or similar entity should consider the MBFC program. Program incentives help to reduce capital project investment requirements along with possible favorable borrowing costs, this program works well with a wide variety of private enterprises looking to locate or expand in Mississippi.The Mississippi Development Bank is a statewide issuer of revenue bonds with proceeds going to local governmental entities. Local governmental units must request that bonds be issued through the Mississippi Development Bank on their behalf and are responsible for the retirement of revenue bond debt through annual payments to the Mississippi Development Bank.

Directly responsible for Industrial recruitment and existing industry programs so that MCEDA’s annual and long range goals and objectives were achieved. Property Manager for multiple county owned industrial parks and facilities

• Assist polymer and polymer related industries throughout Mississippi. Services included processing, physical and analytical testing, rapid prototype, education, and economic development.• Assisted local, regional, state and utilities economic development agencies throughout the state in the retention, expansion and recruitment of polymer industry to the state.• Responsible for business development activities and services for the Polymer Institute which include the following:o Development runso Trouble shootingo Process optimizationo Process Training (Injection Molding and Extrusion) o Lean manufacturing training and implementationo New product development
