RTV silicone adhesives and caulks, Silicone soap grease and compounds, PVC closed-cell foam production in an ISO/QS organization. Responsibilities include all production, engineering, shipping & receiving, inventories, P&L reporting, purchasing, site maintenance, and complete staffing of over 115 individuals and all day-to-day activities.My main areas of focus have been to build lean production processes and to stabilize/grow/develop the manufacturing staff. During my tenure we doubled Silicone Grease production capacity by modifying the process which has further improved quality and consistency and reduced costs by 27%. I have also championed the efforts to grow the PVC foam manufacturing efforts to increase returns by 40%. The site is now fully EPA compliant and has experienced a substantial improvement in OSHA recordables as well as safety awareness among production staff (zero recordables for 2002, 2003, & 2005).Initially the company was very compartmentalized among the three business sectors, we have worked to form a skilled and cross trained staff to pull the organization together into an exceptional manufacturing team.
