Provide marine engineering and logistics support services to the federal government and private industry. Served as Senior Electrical Engineer, overseeing proposal development for Eastern Shipbuilding Group's (ESG's) response to the USCG's Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Program, in the area of the cutter's power generation and distribution systems, the machinery plant control and monitoring system, and the auxiliary electrical propulsion system. Also served as ESG's subject-matter-expert on the Logistics Business Model deployed by USCG, for purposes of its OPC proposal development effort. Used past experience as a USCG senior engineer and manager to support ESG's successful efforts in being awarded the contract for the design and construction of the OPCs.Served as ESG's Senior Electrical Engineer and Subject Matter Expert Logistics Adviser during all phases of the OPC design effort, i.e., from the preliminary design phase through the detailed design phase. Oversaw, reviewed, revised and approved the work of ESG's design agents responsible for design of the OPC Electric Plant, Machinery Plant Control and Monitoring System, and its Auxiliary Electric Propulsion System.

1. Managed the team of subject matter expert Naval Architects and Marine Engineers to make all final “Technical Warrant Holder” worthy decisions for all of SFLC’s Product Lines.2. Managed/supervised the development and review, and approved calculations, analyses, computer modeling, specifications, test procedures, technical manuals, drawings, etc. 3. Provided management oversight to the development of feasibility studies, point designs, conceptual designs, preliminary designs and contract designs for major cutter and boat acquisition projects, as well as for detail design drawings and removal/installation specifications for Engineering Changes and major renovation projects for existing cutters and boats of the Coast Guard fleet. 4. Managed a standard maintenance program based on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles and provided oversight to configuration management functions to ensure that maintenance due and maintenance completions can be tracked by surface asset hull number. 5. Provided management oversight to the operations of an aging cutter and boat support program that included central control of a “Corrosion Control Program” and an “Asset Life Savings Equipment Program”. 6. Provided management oversight to the development and modifications of all technical information required to support cutters and boats throughout their life cycles. 7. Supported Headquarter’s Program Managers in the development of Coast Guard wide naval engineering and logistics policies, as well as developing divisional policies and procedures. 8. Oversaw execution of naval engineering and logistics policy and provided subject matter technical support, training, and technical publications services management to all SFLC Product Lines. 9. Participated as a significant partner in the Command’s strategic planning for logistics transformation of the entire USCG surface fleet.
