Highlights of my career at Eisenhower Medical Center: EMC is a not-for-profit Health System in the Coachella Valley/Palm Springs area of Southern California. The Organization is comprised of a stand-alone 489-bed hospital with a large and expanding system of more than 60 primary care, surgery, urgent care and specialty clinics throughout the valley. I was first associated with Eisenhower Medical Center from April 2004 to June 2005 as a Nurse Recruiter. Rightsizing was necessary in the Human Resources Department in 2005. Ultimately, I was delighted to be asked to join the HR Recruitment team again in April of 2007. I served as the Nurse Recruiter until I transitioned to the Clinic Recruiter, supporting the expanding Clinic Division in early 2015. In March 2016, I joined the Epic Implementation Project as the Epic Training Manager. I managed 17 Principal Trainers and Analyst/Trainers for the entirety of the implementation and an additional 40 Credentialed Trainers for our final 4 months of the implementation phase of the project. The Pre-Go-Live training efforts successfully prepared approximately 4000 employees and providers in 22 Epic Applications. Our Epic Go-Live was July 1, 2017. Having completed the management of the Epic training efforts for Go-Live at the end of July, I have now left Eisenhower to pursue new professional opportunities. Eisenhower Medical Center is an outstanding Health System and I have enjoyed serving the organization.
