CurrentThe Youth Exchange Committee organizes and oversees international exchanges of one year between Rotary Clubs in District 7070 and Rotary Clubs around the world whereby a high school student in grade 10 or 11 attends a high school in a foreign jurisdiction tuition free and a high school student 16 to 17 years old form the partnering country attends high school in Ontario tuition free. The inbound students live with three or four host families recruited by the host Club in Ontario and our outbound students similarly live with three or four host families recruited by the Rotary Club in the foreign jurisdiction. The inbound students learn Canadian culture and become fluent in English and our outbound students learn the culture and become fluent in the language of their host country during the exchange year.
