Larry holds an MBA from Stanford University, a BA in Physics from the University of Utah (NROTC Scholarship) and was a Nuclear Submarine Naval OfficerLarry was one of the founders of Right Management (NYSE:RHT); Right became the largest outplacement, career management, and organizational consulting firm in the world with more than 3000 employees and offices worldwide. Right was sold to Manpower (NYSE:MAN) in 2003. While running the Connecticut region of Right Management, Larry earned the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, New England, Award in 1991. He was also Co-Chair of the Connecticut Grand Opera and Orchestra..He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and the Executive Leaders for Advisory Boards (ELAB). He can thus advise companies on governance issues and strategic growth possibilities. He’s currently doing a deep dives into governance with the NACD.Larry’s been angel investing since 1998. He was a charter member of the NY Angels; Program manager for one of the largest angel groups in the Philadelphia area (LORE); and a member of the screening committee of Delaware Crossing Investor Group (DCIG) in PA and NJ. Larry has invested substantially in about 35 companies. He worked with angel groups nationally and became connected with numerous Private Equity and Venture Capital groups.He, along with Steve Albert (an angel investor, and investment banker) created a presentation titled: “Why Angels are not your Friends and Family” to make sure that early-stage founders realize that Angel investments are usually their first institutional investing group, thus requiring a return other than just emotional satisfaction (which angel investors also enjoy)Larry currently resides in Princeton NJ with his wife, Wendy. He is active in board advisory work.
