Weld Production Supervisor.for one of there Military contracts.• Oversee the operation of the welding procedures and process on the 2nd shift of union employee’s.• Enforce the quality weld standards that are set by our customer and our weld engineer’s and quality manager’s. (Weld size and placement to stay within a heat affected zone).• Training, couching, and mentoring of hourly employees by monitoring their weld quality through out the shift to ensure they keep their standards at the highest level. • Screen new employees and their work and bring them up to standard as quickly as possible or replace them if need be.• Maintain the housekeeping standard while driving the 5S program and continues improvement program.• Maintain the time and attendance and the progressive corrective action’s program’s as needed to maintain quality and attendance standards of the company.• • Ensure that production schedules are met daily.• Train employees in lean manufacturing practices.

Production Supervisor of Roll Forming, Stamping, and assembly.• Oversee the daily operation of 2 departments that cover the roll forming, stamping, and assembly of automotive parts.• Training, mentoring, and couching of hourly employees by staying involved with cell operation.• Ensuring that production schedules are met. That all OEE forms and output boards are maintained.• Drive the 5S and continues improvement program on the shift within the departments.• Maintain the corrective progressive action program as needed.• Drive a lean manufacturing practice to trim waste in all areas.

• Oversee the daily operation of the press and assembly floor.• Training, mentoring, and couching of 6 supervisors across the 3 shift operation to ensure that the production output is met. That scrap levels are kept to the lowest possible levels and communication is maintained at all levels from the hourly employee’s up to the management team.• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.• Drive continues improvement, 5S programs.• Track the thru put, efficiency, scrap, and output daily.• Train and track the daily time and attendance, as well as the discipline records with my supervisors.• Attend the daily staff meetings to keep the management team up to date.• Work within the TS16946 and ISO14001 guide lines.
