Support digital media needs of Discovery Communications/Hasbro joint-venture network. Manage all aspects of media ingest, annotation, distribution, storage and archive. Implement filename and metadata keyword conventions to ensure consistent search results. Devise automation workflows for ingest & archive; document protocols to ensure uniform usage by staff. Manage media embargo dates and usage license windows; purge expired materials. Transcode assets for various distribution platforms (website, social media, VOD, etc) as needed to fulfill internal and external Marketing and Corporate requests.
