• Investigate accidents and perform root-cause analysis on work-related accidents andincidents through the ADR process.• Assist line and staff management to understand OSHA regulations and standards, includingguidance on handling OSHA compliance, inspections, and citations.• Ensure that corrective action is initiated by the supervisor responsible for the area andprovide assistance, as needed, to establish priorities and procedures.• Oversee maintenance of a complete and accurate MSDS system for ready access.• Train, counsel, and advise personnel on all safety issues through management safety bulletins,safety newsletters, memos, and meetings.Establish a proactive approach to providing a safe working environment.• Ensure that all areas are inspected for any conditions that pose potential safety problems viasafety audit processes.• Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents.• Access new developments in the safety and environmental field that may impact companyoperations.• Maintain and update Safety Policy, Safety Goals, and General Safety Rules to ensurecompliance with OSHA requirements.• Interpret, maintain, update, and revise the company EHS Policy Manual.• First responder to work-related injuries.• Responsible for updating and maintaining the company Health and Safety Manual and the companyOSHA 300 Log.• Participate in and monitor KAIZEN and corrective action measures related to safety concerns.• Prepare data for ES meetings (graphs, minutes, etc.).• Analyze and evaluate new and existing equipment and machinery in regard to ergonomics andoperation safety.• Aid in ERT Level One & Level Two training activities.
