After literally stumbling upon the idea for a hand held phone case in 2011, I joined with my business partner Geoff Gardner to build the HB Tune business full time in March of 2013. Although I am involved in all aspects of the business, I am mainly responsible for driving 3 major areas:- Sales management - I drive the sales process to our end users and resellers - both through regional industry representatives and direct company sales.- Business management - I am responsible for analyzing all monthly, quarterly and yearly financials including profit reviews by segment and working capital planning. I also plan our inventory requirements and prepare mid-term and longer range financial forecasts.- Brand development - I spearhead everything related to building the brand including what products to offer in the marketplace, packaging look, functionality and design, web design, SEO and PPC program, user experience, social media & email campaigns as well as reputation within the industry.

Sales and business manager for molecular sieves (Synthetic zeolites) for North America. Specific applications are insulated glass, medical oxygen, Pharmaceutical, packaging (food grade and standard), C.A.S.E (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers), refrigeration, air brakes, oil and gas, industrial gases and a few other specialty applications.- Responsible for unique strategies related to sales, P & L, working capital, and personnel management for each individual market within my responsibility.- Managed 4 direct company employees - 2 in sales, 2 in support as well as 8 regional manufacturers rep/stocking distributor groups.- Maintained direct sales responsibility for larger accounts totaling $26 million/year in revenue while managing the sales production of 2 company employees for a total revenue responsibility of $32 million/year, with full profit and loss responsibility (always profit - never any losses) of over $6 million/year.- Maintained a CRM program for all contacts.

I was responsible for all sales into both the U.S. and Canada for warm light spacer - a thermally broken aluminum spacer bar used in insulated glass.- Created and maintained their CRM program- Managed their print advertising for cost effectiveness

Mid West

I was responsible, both through direct sales as well as manufacturers reps for the sales of weatherstripping, door thresholds and specialty lock hardware to window and door manufacturer within a 7 state region. - Maintained an active CRM database of all accounts using ACT!- Managed 1 manufacturer rep organization for smaller accounts
