• Act as the point of contact for assigned customers in the Mid Atlantic region • Visit distributor locations and build relationships with key contacts within the assigned territory• Research customer inquiries and respond to customer questions in regards to product, requests for prices and quotations, scheduling deliveries, and providing customer follow-ups• Receive and process customer’s purchase orders, translate part numbers, and input orders, pricing information, and additional data into the computer system quickly and accurately• Estimate date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules• Coordinate with third-party delivery service to ensure products are delivered to customers on time• Work with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction• Research and process credits and returns
