Profile bio

About Larry Cable

After a hiatus of some twenty years! I am returning to work directly on the Java platform; this time at the JVM level with a focus on the serviceability of the VM runtime, debugging, management & monitoring etc.Previously I was part of the PaaS Architecture Team working with the latest cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, Terraform, Vault etc to create the infrastructure for Oracle Public Cloud Hybrid SaaS & PaaS technologies, products and solutions, in Java, occasionally Golang, and (very very little thankfully) Python.Over 35 years industry experience working as CTO, Architect, Team Leader, Developer, and Standards Representative with major computer companies, including 14+ years @ Sun Microsystems, DEC, Amazon.com, BEA Systems, Salesforce, Oracle Corp & SAP Labs. Broad experience with and a deep understanding of Cloud, and Enterprise Middleware technologies, architectures, programming systems and models, plus exposure to large Enterprise customers who purchase and deploy such technologies in order to support their core business endeavors. Through a combination of technical, communications and executive skills plus a unique level of experience and understanding, I am able to make a significant contribution to the technology and leadership of any prospective employer.
