Looking back over my career, I've really had three careers. Hot out of school I pursued intellectual property law and developed a great practice in Minneapolis, MN. The lP experience gave me the confidence and skills that I could achieve any intellectual pursuit to which I set my mind including my passion for developing and commercializing the Rotodyne Engine under US Patent 7,677,210 to which I share inventorship and ownership.After 4 years down the traditional legal career route, I decided to follow a new path centered on a tremendous opportunity in my father's jewelry business and that brought me back to New York, where over the next 12 years I made a great name for myself creating leveraged consignment programs for diamondaire and jewelry manufacturer, Kwiat Inc. The jewelry industry had won my heart, because the business is all about relationships, making friends, and delivering value.In 2008, I saw opportunity to get involved with a with a revolutionary website platform company and bought into a business to help bridge the technology gap that exists in the jewelry industry by providing affordable websites and online marketing services. All of the ideas behind this business were right, and while IDS did not survive, it positioned me as a leader for more than 10 years in this very important technology niche area of the jewelry industry where I continue to pursue this mission with more rigor and dedication than ever.
