I was working for a manufacturer, selling technology, and my job required me to fit my customers into the products I was peddling. I thought, “Shouldn’t it be the other way around?” You can shave down the corners of a square peg, but it’s a stop-gap measure, at best.I started Ideal Print Solutions in 2005 with the premise that I would partner with companies whose products made sense for my growing and diverse array of customers. I built an ecosystem of solution partners, so that I didn’t have to sell people more or less than they needed. People now toss around the word “solution” in a way that is more synonymous with products. Back when I built it into my company name, I believed in the fundamental promise that the word conveys. And I’m sticking to that.We focus on serving four markets: Food & Beverage, Transportation & Logistics, Healthcare, and Industrial/Manufacturing. This gives us the opportunity to really understand these industries, and stay on top of the challenges—like compliance issues—and the advances that constitute problem-solvers. When we don’t have a solution readily available, we build one.My proudest achievement with Ideal Print Solutions is being able to build a corporate culture that has serves all of us. We work hard, but cherish our playtime outside of work. We respect one anothers' time, so we keep meetings to the minimum. And we avoid a system of “Death By Reports” that gets in the way of actually getting the work done.I enjoy collaboration and mentoring, so feel free to reach out to me. Show less
