RCG Information Technology (RCG IT)At Emblem Health defined a strategic vision for improved reporting based upon user requirements and GAP analysis and led a small team to implement the data mart utilizing Siebel call center data. He developed data models, managed ETL teams and addressed data quality using quality tools. Reporting was implemented using Business Objects XIr2, Crystal and Cognos for canned and ad-hoc reporting. For the Triumph Group, performed a business intelligence assessment for implementation of the future enterprise architecture with a BO XIr2 implementation. Analyzing 32 ERP systems and operational results for over 50 int’l operating locations he developed a roadmap for the consolidation of reporting. For Liberty Mutual, he worked on a data architecture for the Insurance lines of business. He performed an analysis on how to integrate data from multiple claims processing and sales systems into a single data warehouse. Provided planning for the construction of multiple data marts for different analytical needs including finance, assessment and sales groups. For MetLife, worked with existing RCG consultants to improve the data structure or the reporting database. Designed the architecture of the data warehouse, ODS, staging area, security master and pricing database. Managed the data modeling, ETL (Informatica), canned reporting (Crystal Reports) and ad-hoc reporting (BO/Webi) teams for the Trading and Settlement Data Warehouse including data from NTAPS, Xenos, Peoplesoft GL (EPM) and other data sources. Managed project plans, coordinated release schedules, coordinated testing, defect identification and resolution, end users requirements/user acceptance.

Planned and implemented the migration of legacy applications including MicroStrategy and Cognos to a new Business Objects platform. Developed the new reporting platform based upon business requirements and existing legacy system functionality and redesigned a custom built ASP application to access the optimized credit risk data and leveraged SDK. Worked with users in Asia, Europe and Canada.
