Led the development and implementation of a system level aggregated traffic diagnostic used in the Mfg Test process and in the APS (automatic protection switching) mechanics employed by the K2 Metro Edge optical switching product. This product aggregates ATM, DS1, DS3, E1, Ethernet traffic onto standard optical SONET/SDH topologies, from OC3 to OC192 (WDWM optional).

Managed a wireless COE (center of expertise) core team (7 engineers) developing several web server applications exploiting mainly WiFi mobile technology powered by Java application servers.• Principal engineering member of an OOA/D abstract framework team dedicated to reuse, extensibility and portability of business and design use cases and implementation technology for any marchFIRST customer engagement. The goal was to create a factory approach to a client’s site customization and branding.• Pioneered usage of the abstract framework technology towards developing a handful of mobile store front and back office retail applications. Team size = 3 people.• Analysis and development of an OO based expert system diagnostic.• Implementation of Auto-FRU in support call centers, manufacturing and engineering test.• First in company to create and run a C++ based OO embedded runtime monitor used for running distributed system diagnostics.
