About Larry Heath

Larry started his career before he hit the double digits, providing voice overs for "Radio Disney". In high school he set up his first business, a web and graphic design company. This was followed by a successful online store and a brief foray into running an online publication. As University came to an end, in 2008, Larry founded the now popular independent publication "the AU review". Over the 15 years since its launch, he launched sister sites like "The Iris" and "Hello Asia!", started a digital radio network, and published four books - all under the banner of his company Heath Media. As Larry helped start the Sydney Fringe Festival and worked to oversee digital strategy for a number of arts businesses in Sydney, the business expanded into events. His company Heath Media now oversees the annual Seymour Nights events in Sydney, and Larry is the Founding Director of the National Live Music Awards, which started in 2016. The 6th event was held in October 2023. In January, 2020, he was named Associate Producer for Sounds Australia, where he and the team support exporting Australian artists & industry around the world. He currently lives in Toronto, Canada, where he runs Heath Media remotely and works with Sounds Australia. Between 2017 and 2022, he was the first ever A&R Manager of Embassy Music Publishing Australia & New Zealand (Part of the Wise Music Group), signing an array of contemporary artists including Donny Benet, Beks, Josh Pyke, Ngaiire, Jack Carty, Jude York & Sleepy Benjamin (The Beamish Brothers), Celeste Newman, Paul Beard, Harts & more!
