Was instrumental in securing significant amounts of capital through debt financing and joint ventures to fuel expansion of the company’s investments in world-class retail, hotel and office properties from 2 to 4 million square feet. Operationally, developed and strengthened teams and service capabilities across the enterprise and led the implementation of numerous improvements to the company’s investment and forecasting models, reporting systems and internal controls. Served as the senior financial executive of Fisher’s $200 million commercial real estate division for 13 years. Directed all aspects of the company’s finance, accounting and information technology functions. Promoted to CIO of the parent holding company in 2001 and assigned overall responsibility for business technology and voice communication systems for the entire $500 million enterprise.Led development of strategic business plans and investment strategies. Collaborated in the planning, design and development of Fisher Plaza, a state-of-the-art, technology-driven co-location facility and communications hub. Developed and managed banking relationships. Negotiated credit facilities, construction loans and mortgage debt. Overhauled the company’s accounting systems and software, including re-design of numerous reporting packages, development of new processes, and creation of new performance measurement tools.

Started professional career in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand in Kansas City, Missouri. Later, relocated to Seattle and continued CPA practice with two regional firms. Specialized in taxation of real estate and partnerships. Licensed to practice in Kansas, Missouri and Washington. Currently inactive.
