Additionally, I controlled design and installation of External Casing Packers and Inflation Tools Worldwide certifying well completion. I validated open hole completions on high-profile wells as well.

I ensured quality of well completions with supervision of specialist completion third-party inspectors. Also, I facilitated offshore and face completions on all BHP Trinidad Angostura horizontal wells drilled focusing on quality control testing and documentation. I handled supplier management, scheduling, and materials quality control. .

Manager responsible for administration of the contract through the planning, coordination and implementation of all phases of the total completion system. Interfaced with the client, vendors and BOT personnel to ensure reliability and superior quality of service. Technical support included writing procedures, QA/QC inspection of equipment used, supervision and training of workshop personnel with regard to the make-up and redressing of inflation/service tools, and thorough documentation of all procedures performed.Developed training materials and facilitated seminars for training of BOT and customer personnel worldwide with classroom instruction, hands on and practical experience. In-depth training also provided to BOT personnel in the use of ECPs/Inflation Tools/Thru Tubing Tools as well as on the job training. Coordinated several large Open Hole Completions, i.e.; a North Sea well was a world record for ECPs inflated with cement in one trip (9 ea. 20’ Payzones inflated with the HM-HIT system). Multiple Irish Sea multilateral wells included 15, 20’ Payzones, 11, 20’ XtremeZones and 8, 40’ XtremeZones; all of these were inflated with the HM-HIT system. These were the first 40’ XtremeZone ECPs ran and inflated in the world.Project Engineer for Irish Sea Operator drilling multilateral and horizontal wells. Responsible for ordering equipment, writing procedures, coordination and installation of ECP equipment on multiple multi-lateral wells. As District Engineer for BOT Aberdeen, I performed the same duties as described below while in Norway.Developed procedures to run and install ECPs in several different advanced open hole completion applications. These applications included, but were not limited to, extended reach horizontal wells, multi-lateral wells and HP-HT wells. Responsible for the operation of BOT’s newly developed HM-HIT required in these applications.
