Larry Kurz's experience, although mostly in the automotive field, is widely varied. From his first business, Rust-Guard, he ran not only a independent auto dealership, but also a rust proofing service and body shop. Larry used this experience to open his second business, Jacksonville Auto Auction in 1982. In his 24 years as President and General Manager, he lead personnel, managed customer service, sales and marketing, was responsible for financial stability and growth, as well as running the on-site restaurant facility. He is currently working as Managing Director of LAK Properties, LLC, managing industrial properties and warehouses in the Jacksonville area.Larry was on the board of directors of the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA) for 2 separate 3-year terms. He served as the co-chair of the Independent Auto Auction Committee and served on various other boards. He was a board member of the Florida Independent Auto Dealers Association (FIADA). Larry was also appointed to the Automotive Task Force by Governor Bush and advised this committee on new regulations, policies, and laws that affected both automotive dealers and consumers.Specialties: Auto Auction Management
