As the City Manager of the City of Monroe, Ohio, I lead a dedicated team of public servants who provide essential services and programs to city residents and businesses. I am responsible for the administration, operations, and strategic planning of all city departments as well as the preparation and execution of the city's capital and operating budgets. With over 30 years of experience in local government, I have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective municipal services to create public value and improve the quality of life in the local community.I am also a Ph.D. candidate in Organizational Leadership at Southeastern University. My research focuses on the factors that influence leadership, public service motivation, job satisfaction, and talent retention in modern local government. I hold a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Urbana University, and an Associate of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Columbus State Community College.
