More recently, he has helped launch several businesses, including CoPower, an award-winning social enterprise that finances clean energy projects.Larry has been a frequent guest speaker at conferences, both domestic and international, on topics ranging from law to clean energy to personal branding. He has also taught business law at the university level.Named a Governor of the Fondation du Barreau du Québec in 2019, Larry is also a past winner of the Lexpert Zenith Award for Corporate and Law Firm Social Responsibility and the Promies Award for Young Professional of the Year, as well as a two-time winner of the Past Presidents' Award of AIJA, the International Association of Young Lawyers. Larry is a past president of the Lord Reading Law Society, a Montreal-based lawyers’ association that organizes gala dinners featuring prominent guest speakers, while advocating for the protection of human rights. He continues to serve as co-editor of the Society’s newsletter, a position he has held since 2009.Involved in the community, Larry serves on the Board of YES Employment + Entrepreneurship, which provides English-language support services to help Quebecers find employment and start businesses.
