Larry began his insurance career in Orlando in 1992 at the age of 23, and within a few years started his own insurance agency. During that time Larry was voted “Top 5” by FAIA / Producer of the Year Award and was ranked 13th in the country with Zurich Insurance Small Construction for new business written. After 10 years of running his own agency, Larry was ready for the next chapter, merging with Sihle Insurance Group in 2005, joining forces with a leading Florida agency offering all that was needed to compete with the “best of the best”. In January of 2013 he joined the Executive Team as Director of Sales and Agency Relations, and in 2014 was promoted to Director of Commercial Lines helping Sihle achieve such as Top Producing Agency in the country, Top New Business Small Markets, Largest Volume Agency in Florida, and Most Percentage of Growth while helping drive Sihle to the “Top 100” Independent Agencies nationwide.Larry felt he had grown as much as possible at Sihle Insurance and decided to join the IOA family in 2016 becoming part of one of the leading privately held agencies in the country. Unsure if he could perform at this level he jumped in and gave it his best, and within 2 years he made Partner. In 2017 he was recognized as 2017’s Risk Services Partner of the Year, and in 2020 was recognized as IOA’s 2020 Partner of the Year, IOA’s most coveted award. Within the first couple of years, he more than doubled his book of business by watching and learning from other top performers who welcomed him into the IOA culture and family. Today Larry is Managing Partner, helping oversee IOA’s largest region and Home Office. Larry been able to give back while helping IOA continue to prosper and outperform the industry year in and year out. He enjoys leading the sales meetings and overseeing sales goals of producers in his region and his journey over the last 30 years and what he’s learned along that journey allows him to help people perform at their best. Larry feels fortunate to work alongside some of the finest people, personally and professionally here at IOA who help him grow as a person and as a producer daily. Larry believes insurance is an incredible business if you're willing to put in the effort. If you are it will serve you and your family well. Larry currently holds the following active license appointments: 2-14, 2-15, 2-16, 2-18, 2-20 and 2-40 which allows me to provide solutions and perform in numerous areas of insurance.
