Spearhead the marketing initiatives for MetroNational’s retail portfolio which centers around Memorial City, a 265-acre mixed use development in west Houston. Memorial City Mall, a 1.7 million SF super regional shopping center, is at the center of Memorial City and features 150+ distinctive retailers and restaurants and 5 anchor stores. Memorial City also features The Gateway, a 90,000 SF upscale lifestyle tract featuring premium restaurants and luxury retailers, along with 3 other shopping centers with plans for future development. I am an active participant in MetroNational's development and tenant construction process. This involvement allows me to design schedules to ensure marketing initiatives are timed accordingly with future developments. My primary goal is to ensure the success of MetroNational's retail portfolio by ensuring retail marketing initiatives are aligned with MetroNational’s overall Memorial City brand strategy and objectives. This will be accomplished by supporting current and future tenants to ensure they are successful, planning and management of special events, and building strategic partnerships with media, local businesses, and the surrounding community.

Assisted in administering the marketing functions for Memorial City Mall, which at the time was an underperforming super regional shopping center. Beginning just prior to my arrival, the property began an extensive $300 million redevelopment that was completed in the Fall of 2004. A coordinated marketing plan was put in place to take advantage of the greatly improved tenant mix and regain market share which had fallen drastically. The shopping center's sales PSF grew annually through the years of redevelopment and continued once the redevelopment was completed.
