Taught graduate and undergraduate classes in the Institute of Public Service at Seattle University. Classes include Introduction to the Nonprofit Sector and Nonprofit Governance.

Oversaw functions both internally (strategic planning, program development, finance) and externally (fundraising and government relations).  Provided leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure the foundation had proper organizational controls in administration, reporting procedures, compliance and people systems to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency for 150 CSF staff and $45M annual budget.

Served as spokesperson and chief advocate; developed strategic direction and established initiatives to fulfill mission and increase awareness and prominence. Directed operations, to include development, education and public programming, finance and external communications. Managed $3.5M annual budget and staff of 19. Led and participated in fundraising and development activities; developed relationships with foundations, corporations, and individual donors. 

Promoted to national leadership for consistent achievement of mission and financial objectives. Provided direction in developing program, organizational and financial plans with the Board of Directors and staff and carried out authorized plans and policies. Advocated active and broad participation by volunteers in all areas of the organization's work. Maintained official records and documents, and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Oversaw administration, programs and strategic plan and led fundraising, marketing, and community outreach initiatives. Effectively advocated on behalf of low-income youth education with Washington State legislators and agency representatives.
