Led team of 110.• Collaborated with InsurTech start-ups and served as global actuarial lead for a non-invasive life insurance underwriting proof of concept project.• Led the implementation of European embedded value reporting, which supported the allocation of acquisition spend and high single digit growth in the region, exceeding average local GDP growth.• Created quarterly growth and profitability waterfalls and executed remedies to underperforming segments.• Served as Interim LatAm CFO (2017) and Interim Brazil CFO (2018).• Contributed to due diligence for Chile Provida AFP acquisition ($2B).

Managed Product, Underwriting and Actuarial Reserving. Led team of 95.• Leveraged deep data analysis to identify a poorly performing Major Medical business then implemented pricing strategies that set it on a path towards long-term profitability. Strategy was ultimately adopted by the local competitors. • Led the product, underwriting and actuarial teams that supported a 3-year operating earnings CAGR of 14% and worked closely with local CFO to increase the transparency and accuracy of financial projections.

Managed Product, Underwriting and Actuarial Reserving. Led team of 35.• Built product and underwriting team in Brazil that reversed a significant loss by implementing new governance and underwriting processes which led to a 6% profit on earned premium in 2 years.• Contributed to due diligence for Alico acquisition ($16B).
