Once assuming responsibility for an operations office that was failing it was determined that all previous personnel records had not been properly maintained and all 110 individual training files were missing. Within 90 days off assuming this position, Senior Executives established Deployment Preparation as their number one priority. -Ensured Pentagon network and technology goals were met: It took less than one year to prepare and meet all training expectations, operational readiness, and overall readiness for all Senior Executives at not only the local level but also at the Pentagon. However, when completed, the Network Enterprise Technology Commander sent an inspection team to determine the overall readiness and training level completed. When finished it was determined that all Pentagon level established goals had not just been met but were surpassed by at least 50% on average. -Managed daily operations and logistics while deployed in Iraq: When deployed, the tasks of day to day operations took on an entire life of its own. In anticipation of the longest and most signal-centric deployment during Operation Iraqi Freedom, at its time. An additional 100 people were added into the unit one month prior to departure.
