As a kid, I always thought I'd grow up to be a baseball player. Instead, I found my calling in financial services. But the philosophy of being a team player stuck with me.The lessons I learned in athletics (how to coach, be coached and win together) are directly related to my career in the insurance industry. I've held just about every position you can imagine, from accounting analyst to chief underwriter to senior vice president of Marketing and Sales.Thanks to that experience, I understand how each position fits into the overall team. I know each and every role is critical to our success.The role I enjoy most is that of team leader. I thrive on being an engaged, solutions-focused coach to my group of regional officers.
