InterNiche (http://www.iNiche.com) was a boutique developer of highly specialized software focused on low-footprint implementation of communication software for MCU/MPU and FPGA platforms, licensing its source code of 30 protocol and application modules, including TCP/IP, IPv6, HTTP Server and Client, SNMP v1/2/3, IPSec/IKE, ESMTP Client, SSH Server, PPP/oE.I was responsible for all aspects of product planning, design and development, daily operations and both customer and partner management. I lead a team of between 6-16 engineers in the development and licensing of TCP/IP-based communication, security and application products specifically designed for use in embedded devices (aka IoT products). All products were developed in accordance with RFCs and with strict attention to footprint requirements. Products were RTOS, tool-chain and processor agnostic, were provided as "closed source" code and in some cases as pre-compiled libraries sold through 3rd parties. I personally developed all test, automation, manufacturing, websites and database tools around which the company and its processes were built. Packaged, marketed, sold and delivered the company's entire portfolio to a competitor.
