This involved selecting and utilizing a third-party computer model, program and hardware, and hand-held computers to physically inventory over 20,000 trees in each grant, locate and number them on maps to match the inventory data. Each site location had 20+ parameters, including Genus/Species, height, spread, health, utility conflicts above or below ground, next recommended procedure, etc. The data was downloaded to the municipality, and became a functional City tree inventory.
