Analyze and control logistics expenses of the markets, studying components ranging from procurement, to warehousing, to transport and information systems, involving human, capital, and material inputs.Evaluating variances between established budgeted costs and actual incurred costs, developing budgets, auditing financial transactions, gathering information about market sales performance and trends, and preparing reports for company leadership.Ensuring end-to-end supply chain management is performed at high service standards to comply with Sony’s policy and procedures by facilitating the S&OP process, reviewing existing guidelines with service providers to come up practicable improvements to logistics operations to enhance the 3PLs’ logistical flows in compliance with the company’s standards.Document and develop cost saving activities through visibility and understanding the markets’ systems of activities, processes, resources and organizations dealing with the flow of goods and services from end to end.

Coordinate the creation and communication of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of purchase order delivery dates and proper customer notificationMaintain communication and adjustment logs, monitor status of production, shipments with global parties such as cross-functional partners including Customs, Transportation, Freight Forwarder and QACommunicate all changes and cancellations of purchase orders to agents/vendorsCollaborate with supply chain functions to resolving issues relating to shipments with logistical, financial and chased ordersWorking with US counterparts to set-up and ensure accuracy of SKUs and assortment to support on-time PO placement
