Acquisition Analyst
Current-Drafts and routes Support Agreements, Determinations & Findings, and Intra Agency Requirements documents to ensure successful agreement between Missile Defense Agency and other Government agencies.-Prepares, reviews, and documents acquisition documents for internal and external communications to include prime contractors.-Prepares and maintains current acquisition plans, appropriate milestone charts, and related schedules. Assists in the development of solicitation packages and conducts reviews of contract specifications and contract changes.-Executes contracting transactions including pre-award initiation and recommendations for award to support the acquisition of items or services with specialized requirements.-Reviews procurement work directives and procurement data packages for regulatory compliances, clarity and completeness.-Coordinates with Finance, Cost, legal and other specialists as necessary. Locates errors and returns to responsible individuals for correction.-Teams with budget analysts to assign budget priorities by coordinating the technical requirements , Government cost estimates, and phasing of funding.-Supports cost estimation analysis by collecting the appropriate data required to support the cost estimation processes, in alignment with stated requirements.-Performs contract administration activities including incremental funding, option exercises, redirections of effort, and coordination of period of performance extensions, for acquisition of highly specialized weapon systems.-Provides acquisition support for a wide range of activities including development and completion of contract requirements packages, acquisition strategy development from cradle to grave, acquisition assessments, authoring, tracking, and reviewing of contract data requirements lists (CDRLs), coordination of technical evaluation package, support of Inter/Intra Agency requirements, and supporting program management as appropriate and necessary.
