He has broad experience in various leadership roles across the renewable energy markets, including posts in China, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and South America.As President of Vestas China, Lars established Vestas sales business unit in China. Under his leadership, Vestas China grew to $1 billion in annual sales, 10 factories, and 3000 employees. Lars was responsibility for the P/L including customer service with an installed fleet of more than 3200 wind turbines.As CEO of Ogin Inc., a disruptive wind technology startup backed by global investors, Lars was responsible for board/investor relations, organizational development, product development, testing and validation of the initial product in distributed generation.Lars has spent the early part of his career in consulting, engineering and project management roles at Vestas, Black & Veatch and ABB. He has been in various positions across the energy value chain and involved in more than 2800MW of hydroelectric projects and more than 4000MW of wind projects.
