I was a member of the executive management team of Banks and Brokers and reported directly to the Business Unit Presiden. I was a board member of OMX Technology Iceland.I was recruited to help grow the business unit, mainly internationally, but just after I joined the company (July 2005), the board changed strategy and decided to reconstruct the unit and prepare it for divestment. The reconstruction involved downsizing of the staff. The development team had a headcount of 117 when Lars joined, to a HC of 51.The tasks and responsibilities included managing the development teams in Stockholm, Helsinki and Reykjavik, and deep involvement in divestment strategy and negotiations with potential buyers as well as customer and staff communication.During the period a large change management project was launched. The project scope was preparation, and knowledge transfer of the WIZER legacy system to an off-shore model with HCL as the partner. The off-shoring is in December 2006 ready for phase 2, which aims at more advanced work being off-shored.I was very active in the negotiations in finding a development partner for the next generation pan-Nordic back office system that has offered to major Nordic bank. -
