The Custom engineering team is responsible for customizations of the standard products. This includes interfaces, reports or other extensions of the products. The Client Support team handles client support services for all IMG EMEA clients.

The EMEA support team supports 200+ clients in the region. I was recruited to professionalize and grow the EMEA support team and to enhance the support offerings.About AdventFor more than 20 years, Advent has been providing portfolio management and accounting, straight through processing and trade order management software, services and data to the world's leading financial professionals. Advent is the industry standard investment management software for asset managers, hedge funds, fund administrators, prime brokers, family offices and banks & trusts.

Head of development, Banks and Brokers. I was a member of the executive management team of Banks and Brokers and reported directly to the Business Unit Presiden. I was a board member of OMX Technology Iceland.I was recruited to help grow the business unit, mainly internationally, but just after I joined the company (July 2005), the board changed strategy and decided to reconstruct the unit and prepare it for divestment. The reconstruction involved downsizing of the staff. The development team had a headcount of 117 when Lars joined, to a HC of 51.The tasks and responsibilities included managing the development teams in Stockholm, Helsinki and Reykjavik, and deep involvement in divestment strategy and negotiations with potential buyers as well as customer and staff communication.During the period a large change management project was launched. The project scope was preparation, and knowledge transfer of the WIZER legacy system to an off-shore model with HCL as the partner. The off-shoring is in December 2006 ready for phase 2, which aims at more advanced work being off-shored.I was very active in the negotiations in finding a development partner for the next generation pan-Nordic back office system that has offered to major Nordic bank.

I was based in Oslo.I was hired to turn-around an ad-hoc development group and an ad-hoc product management group into a professional organization and did so in his 2,5 year employmentThe budget responsibility for me 2004 was MUSD 4.8 including marketing and product management. The number of FTE:s reporting to Lars was 2004 54 distributed as follows: Seattle 1 FTE, The Hague 2 FTE, Manchester 1 FTE, Stavanger 4, Oslo 21 and St Petersburg 25.The AMOS Business Suite, a powerful software suite, the first in shipping, was created and marketed during Q2 2004.The organization did during a period of almost 3 years adopt a CMM quality and efficiency program (CMM) and successfully climbed to level three (of five possible)The number of technical platforms was reduced. Technology for next generation products was chosen using an evaluation project (Microsoft .net and a layered architecture model). The implementation of .net products was started with the first deliverable in Q2, 2004.Introduced a support process for the company (1st to 4 th level) used by all 5 regions.
