Next generation user experience for Terabit layer 1-2 testing.

Design and implementation of a product line for application traffic generation and analysis. This involves direct customer contact, product specification, production and planning. I’m mainly responsible for developing the frontend UX VulcanManager and act as solution architect for the product line.Vulcan is a TCP traffic generation/analysis tool. It is used to test network infrastructure components like firewalls and wide area networks. It is a client - server architecture, where client being VulcanManager. VulcanManager is a WPF desktop application written C# .NET6.0. We use Azure DevOps as CI/CD platform.

Responsible for coordinating a biweekly release schedule. Taking in and reviewing project deliveries, maintaining core code and 2-3'rd support level incident handling. That involved continuous doing risk assessment and planning with trading floor, business support and product owners. I was leading a small team of highly experienced application test and development engineers. We used Kanban to handle daily workload, prioritization and relied heavily on CI/CD.

I started with the responsibility of planning release cycles and provisioning the infrastructure, designing security etc. As my C#, .NET skills improved, I started developing various support tools, and participated development of several advanced trading modules for SaxoTrader. During this time we went from a waterfall like process to Scrum and introduced CI/CD.

Physical design of highly complex Ethernet switching chip sets using customer owned tool set. I was responsible for top level floorplan, clock routing, IO/package design, power design and IR calculation, Static timing Analysis, Synthesis and block level layout etc.I developed an automation flow using make, Perl and Tcl, that ensured high productivity, low chip spin cycle time and produced a predictable outcome.
