Beginning with machine code on my home computer at the age of 12, I discovered the wonderful world of software development. I used machine code snippets to extend the BASIC language and actually managed to develop a somewhat slow joystick controlled 3D CAD application.At College and University I migrated into C and UNIX environments, learning all about data structures, algorithms, memory management, communications and parallel computing from the lowest level. This great knowledge still helps me today when developing high quality, stable applications with long life times.In my career I have worked in many different technical areas. I have developed low level APIs, middleware, front ends, database projects and secure IoT-solutions with cloud services, to name just a few. I have special knowledge of the TV-media industry with metrics and forecasting. I also have deep knowledge of GIS, positioning systems and remote sensing.As a person I’m social, curious, and solution driven. I like my projects to be on time, and within budget. My passion for software development is strong - I’m still pondering over what 12 yo me could have done to speed up the 3D CAD application…
